สวัสดีครับ ผมเอ็ดครับ

เหตุผลที่ทำเพจนี้ขึ้นมาเพราะเทคโนโลยี Wi-Fi แม้จะดูเป็นเรื่องง่าย แต่จริง ๆ แล้วเป็นเทคโนโลยีที่ซับซ้อน และผมยังไม่ค่อยเห็นใครเขียนบทความที่มีเนื้อหาเป็นภาษาไทยเท่าไหร่ ส่วนตัวผมเองทำงานด้านนี้มานาน ลองผิดลองถูก ผิดพลาดมาก็เยอะเพราะไม่มีคนสอนตอนเริ่มมาจับงานด้านนี้ เลยอยากจะแบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้าน Wi-Fi Best Practices ให้กับท่านที่สนใจ

Wi-Fi Resource Center by SIAM Wireless เป็นที่รวมบทความและความรู้เกี่ยวกับ Wi-Fi ตั้งแต่พื้นฐาน การออกแบบ ไปจนถึงการแก้ปัญหาหน้างาน เนื้อหาหลายส่วนมาจากเรื่องที่ผมเคยเขียนใน Blog และเพจ SIAM Wireless ซึ่งนำมาจัดไว้ที่นี่ให้อ่านและค้นหาได้สะดวกขึ้น

นอกจากบทความแล้ว ผมได้ทำ Wi-Fi Lab เพื่อช่วยอธิบายทฤษฎีที่เข้าใจยาก ๆ และสิ่งที่เรามองไม่เห็นอย่างคลื่นวิทยุ (RF) ให้เห็นภาพมากขึ้น ผ่าน interactive model และ animation ซึ่งเราสามารถลองปรับค่า เล่นกับตัวแปร แล้วดูว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้น เช่น Modulation, CSMA/CA Medium Access, OFDM Simulator, Multipath, Beamforming และ Calculator ต่าง ๆ เครื่องมือเหล่านี้ตั้งใจทำไว้เพื่อการเรียนรู้ครับ

Hi, this is Ed.

Wi-Fi may seem simple when it works, but the technology behind it can get complicated quickly. When I first started working in this field, there wasn’t much guidance available to me. I learned a lot through trial and error and made plenty of mistakes along the way. I also noticed that there weren’t many articles about Wi-Fi in Thai, so I wanted to share what I’ve learned and the best practices I’ve picked up from working in the field.

Wi-Fi Resource Center by SIAM Wireless brings together articles on Wi-Fi fundamentals, design, and real-world troubleshooting. Much of the content began as posts on my blog and the SIAM Wireless Facebook page. I’ve brought it here so it’s easier to find, read, and revisit.

I also created Wi-Fi Lab to make difficult concepts—and things we can’t see, such as RF—easier to understand. Its interactive models and animations let you change variables and see what happens. Topics include modulation, CSMA/CA medium access, OFDM, multipath, beamforming, and a range of calculators. These tools are made for learning and exploration.
